Day 1 - History of Reading Process

I found this video when I googled Marilyn Jagger Adams. It is really long (approx. 1 hour), but very interesting. She compares the history of literacy development to a student who is learning to read. For example, cave paintings vs. student pictures to tell some information.
She also mentions brain development and orthographic processes. Well worth viewing!
